Reimbursement

BIO DISC Reimbursement

BioDisc is a next-generation, tissue-based biologic that fits squarely within the CMS-established reimbursement framework under Category III CPT codes 0627T and 0629T, which were specifically created to cover injectable, allogeneic, or tissue-based products for disc repair. Bio Disc fully aligns with the descriptors and intent of these codes, making it an ideal candidate for reimbursable clinical use.

Bio Disc Offers billing and coding support with use of Bio Disc products and applications. Should you or your practice have any questions, concerns, or require services, our billing and coding support hotline team provides national reimbursement support to facilites nationwide to help facilitate your financial success.

Our mission is to make BioDisc not only clinically effective but financially sustainable for practices. We believe doctors should focus on patient outcomes — not paperwork — and we are committed to standing behind them every step of the way.

REIMBURSEMENT SUPPORT

The Bio Disc team is dedicated to collaborating with patients and physicians to assist with every aspect of the reimbursement process. The Bio Disc procedure is a minimally invasive, outpatient treatment typically conducted in either a hospital outpatient department (HOPD) or an ambulatory surgery center (ASC). The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have established two Category III CPT codes, 0627T and 0629T, for this procedure. These codes are associated with APC 5115 and carry a J8 device intensive payment indicator.
